Lovington teachers will report on Tuesday, August 11, 2009 for two days of in-service for all Lovington Municipal School faculty and staff. New teachers will report on Monday, August 10, 2009 for orientation. All students grades PreK - 12 will report Thrusday August 13, for their first day of school.
School enrollment for all students new to the district will begin on Monday, August 3, 2009 and will continue through Wednesday, August 5, 2009 from 9:00 a.m. untill 3:00 p.m. each day. Buses will not run on enrollemnt days. Class assignments for Elementary students will be posted beginning Wednesday, August 5, 2009.
Students in grades 9-12 MUST be accompanied by a parent or guardian when they pick up their schedules in Unit A at Lovington High School. Lovington High School and Freshman Academy students may register as follows: Seniors - Monday, August 3 from 9:00 a.m. untill 12:00 noon; Juniors - Tuesday, August 4 from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon; Sophmores - Tuesday, August 4 from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. All other students, including those new to the District, should register Thursday, August 6 from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. Schedule changes for grades 10-12 will take place in Unit A of LHS. Schedule changes fro Seniors will be considered on Thursday, August 6 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. Schedule changes for Juniors will be considered Thursday, August 6 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. Schedule changes for Sophmores and Freshmen will be considered on Friday, August 7 from 9:00 a.m. until 12:00 noon.
Students grades 7-8 MUST be accompanied by a parent or gaurdian when they pick up their schedules at Taylor Middle School.
Students in the 8th Grade will register on Monday, August 3 from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
Students in the 7th Grade will register on Monday, August 4 from 9:00 a.m. until 3:00 p.m.
Students in the 6th Grade will register at the Sixth Grade Academy on Thursday August 6, 2009.
